Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TO EXTEND the life and mileage of its tubeless retread tyres Bandag has introduced a pressure seal safety liner.

The seal is a liquid butyl-blend polymer (coloured blue for identification) which is sprayed bead-tobeam in each tyre. This coats the inner liner of the tyre casing helping it to maintain pressure, even when under inflated, and to run cooler. According to Bandag, inadequate air pressure can increase tread wear by up to 23 per cent over the life of a tyre.
