Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN ANSWER to the problem of excessive battery drain resulting from fans recirculating cool air in unattended refrigerated bodies is offered by Microniech.

ln conjunction with Carrier Transport Refrigeration, the company has come up with the solution of using four small Papst fans to provide the required volume of chilled air in place of the usual single large fan. These 12V DC units have a combined consumption of I.5amps,compared with larger fans which generally consume around eight amps.

In combined refrigerated and chilled bodies, two fans are mounted either side of the partition between the two areas. The fans are controlled by temperature sensors which feed data to a digital monitor in the cab.
