Next week, Tip-Ex 2013 (30 May-1 June) will kick off with an auction hosted by Protruck Auctions. Top billing is a black FH16.700 with a Globetrotter XL cab.
The chassis has a mid-lift axle and it has clocked up more than 216,000km. It arrived coupled to a tri-axle smooth-sided movingfloor trailer built by Wilcox, but both assets will be sold separately.
So far there are more than 150 trucks and trailers set to go under the hammer. The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate will open at 9am on 30 May, and there will be bacon butties and hot drinks available before the auction kicks off at 10.30am.
