French student Celine Figard (pic tured) is to stand trial at
Worcester Crown Court on 2 October.
Stuart William Morgan, 36, of Bournemouth Rd, Poole, Dorset, pleaded not guilty during committal proceedings at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Tuesday 14 May. During the 10-minute hearing he spoke only to confirm his name and to state his plea.
The 19-year-old accountancy student was murdered between 18-30 December last year while hitchhiking to Fordingbridge, Hants. Her body was found in a layby at Ombersley, Worcs
