The Midlands-based NHA believes that there are common areas in which the three groups can help hauliers.

It is concerned about the expense of fitting speed limiters, low haulage rates and providing effective opposition against environmental pressure groups like Transport 2000, which recently proposed a 55% increase in road tax.
