• AWD has taken its first step on the Continent with the appointment of Hunter of Antwerp as a distributor in Belgium and Holland.
Hunter has held the Perkins engine agency in Belgium for many years.
AWD's trucks are currently being Type Approved for the two countries and will go on sale later this year. The urban artic, which has already achieved success in the UK with Bass, should interest operators who have to deliver round the narrow streets of Belgium, says AWD.
A Portuguese distributor is expected to be appointed soon.
