Super Duty twin-plate manually-adjusted ceramic clutch as standard on its EIO truck range.
The new dutch has special spring plates to support the thicker intermediate plate which Spicer says can absorb and dissipate more heat.
Six-button ceramic discs give a 232cm2 surface friction area which is 55% more than that of the standard four-button discs.
According to Spicer, this increase will extend inservice life and because of improved engagement characteristics, will dispell any further criticism of ceramic plates.
