THE ERAD French mini-truck with a carrying capacity of 432ki (8.5cwt) and claimed fuel consumption of up to 3.51ittlOOkn (80mpg) is to be introduced into Britain from mid-June.
The ERAD truck has a roomy fully-enclosed thermoplastic cab will two seats. The pick-up body is fitted with a full canvas tilt mounter on a box-section steel chassis which is independently sprung.
A 125cc two-stroke engine drives through an automatic gearbox tr give a top speed of 72km/h (45mph).
The ERAD is to be marketed in the UK by Crevent Ltd of Strood Kent, and will retail at £1,995 plus VAT.
