FROM APRIL 1 Richard Christian, assistant traffic manager for Yorkshire Traction at Barnsley, will be operations manager for Ribble Motor Services. This follows the recent appointment of Ian Morgan, who was deputy traffic manager for Ribble, to the post of traffic manager, Trent Motor Traction.
Mr Christian has been in his present job since February 1980. Before this he was with United Counties, where he began his bus industry career as a junior management traffic trainee in 1968. In 1978 he was appointed assistant traffic superintendent for the company's northern area, moving to the same job in its western area a year later.
