WAX POLISHING IN MINUTES

MANY more people would no doubt use a wax polish if this work of obtaining a good and long-lasting coaling were not a matter of so much time and elbow grease. To reduce the task of polishing a vehicle to a matter or minutes, rather than hours, Johnson's Wax Products, Ltd., West Drayton. Middlesex. has introduced a new liquid wax called Car-Plate. It is claimed that this took five years of research, during which over 1,000 formulm were tested.

The preparation has to be spread evenly in a thin film over the entire vehicle, the solvent allowed to evaporate and the resulting haze merely wiped off. Car-Plate is not a cleaner and, therefore, the vehicle should be thoroughly cleaned first, but it may be applied over an old wax film if the surface be free from dirt and oil, and if the original wax has been property polished. A 10-oz. can costs 5s.
