Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Transport specialists have the opportunity to hear tribunal cases relating mainly to road transport licensing.

The JAC is running a selection exercise to identify three individuals to fill these roles from 13 July.

Applicants need to have been a senior manager involved in sizeable road passenger and/or freight businesses, with experience of operational and maintenance activities.

Tribunal members get involved in upholding the standards of the profession, developing the regulatory regime, contributing something back to the industry, and ensuring decisions are fair.

Successful applicants will not be assigned to a region and would be expected to hear cases in London and Glasgow.

Appointments are for a renewable period of five years.

The selection exercise opens for applications on 13 July 2011 and the application materials will available for you to download from the JAC website: www.jac.judiciary.gov.uk
