Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Truckfest South West is almost upon us and entries have flooded in for the Commercial Motor Best Kept Working Truck competition.

Entries to the contest are now closed, but visitors will be welcome at the Shell Diesel Drivers Club-sponsored show on Saturday/Sunday 2-3 July at the Bath and West showground, Shepton Mallet between 9.30arn and 6pm. Naturally Commercial Motor will be there, with lots of goodies to give away.

• A highlight of Truckfest Southwest will be Professional Driver '88, a driving contest for all classes of lorry and PSV drivers. The competition, organised by the UK Truckers Association, Scania, Overdrive and Commercial Motor, will take place over both days of the show, with entry open to all those in possession of a full HGV or PSV licence, subject to limits of time and space.

The competition will be laid out in a similar manner to that used for the international UICR driving competitions, and winning contestants may be given the opportunity to attend the international driving competition in Ireland later this year.

Because of the limited spaces available, potential contestants are urged to arrive at Truckfest Southwest early and report to the Professional Driver '88 arena.

In the meantime, if there are any queries, Brian Maydew of UKTA on 021-559 2380 should be able to supply the answers.
