• A chassis-mounted tail-lift with extra-long mounting arms and a folding under-run bumper has been developed by Peterboroughbased Ray Smith (Tail Lifts) for trucks which tow centre bogie trailers with rigid drawbeams. The first tail-lift has gone into service with Lec Refrigeration and is a modified version of Ray Smith's one-tonne capacity D-series range with a 1.2m platform.
