• Distribution specialist Manchester-based Homespeed has added eight ERF E-10 4x2 tractive units to its fleet for primary distribution trwiking throughout its UK network.

Powered by Cummins en gines, the vehicles were chosen because, says Homespeed traffic supervisor Jerry Burtonshaw, of their "proven reliability and their very high acceptability rate among our drivers".

The vehicles will be based at the company's Manchester centre, collecting from manufacturing companies during the day and trunking to satellite depots at night.
