Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Kent-Moore has introduced a diesel engine heater plug tester to its Dieselcare range. Fast, straightforward testing of heater plugs is an increasing requirement and wih KM 4178, heater plugs can be checked quickly and effectively in situ, with the engine switched off.

Colour-coded (red and green) lights on the tester simply and clearly indicate good or bad condition. A springloaded switch activates an automatic test cycle in order to indicate plug condition.

The tester is powered directly from the vehicle battery and is protected against accidental reverse polarity connection. It comes complete with cover and instructions. Kent-Moore UK Turbo 71 I Falcon (EM)) has insulated a busy vehicle maintenance workshop owned by J W Leggett of Beccles, used by Motax Motors, without disrupting day to day use.

Adrian Sampson, managing director of Falcon, says it would have been difficult — and expensive — to insulate the cured asbestos roofing in a conventional way, but with polyurethane foam the job was done in two days with little or no disruption to the work going on below.

Falcon sprayed 25 to 40mm (1, to 11/2") foam to the 110m2 roof with a coating of 11/2 litres/m2 of Timonox Intumescent paint to enhance fire resistance and give a white, highly reflective finish.

An insulation U-value of 0.6 watts/m2/°C has been achieved with the foam.
