Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A range of eight crash body repair outfits is offered by Tangye. Each contains accessories and adaptors to meet the crash repair needs of most body shops.

A choice of components enables the user to specify the particular kit to adopt as standard including the hydraulic pumping unit which may be hand, air or electrically operated.

Basic equipment includes a selection of 10 tonnes capacity hydraulic long and short-stroke arms which may be used for both lifting and pushing. A selection of adaptors such as rubber domes, vee and fiat base plates and saddles increase the versatility of the ram, while a choice of extension tubes from 75mm to 750mm in length provide the necessary reach and adjustment for most body repair requirements. These may be joined as required by either screwed tube couplings or quick-fit couplings with locking pins.

For opening and bursting applications the kit includes a vee base wedge head, spreader plunger and ram toe. Two lengths of chain, lm and 1.7m, complete with one or two hooks are available, together with puller plates and puller cylinders. To take up the slack of the chain quickly a shiplock extension may be supplied.
