Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A portable hydraulic test unit manufactured by T. Webster can be inserted anywhere in a fluid circuit to indicate flow, temperature and pressure and thus reveal whether each individual component is performing satisfactorily. By turning a control knob to operate a loading valve in the test unit, the operator can build up from no-load to full working pressure and observe the behaviour of flow and temperature at various pressure levels.

Flow is measured by an electronic count of the rotation speed of a small turbine and measurement is not affected by changes in temperature and viscosity of the hydraulic fluid. It is calibrated on two scales — high-flow and low-flow — which are selected by a switch. The pressure gauge is designed for a least 10 times the service life o a conventional gauge and will, i is claimed, withstand overload: of 50 per cent without damagi Or loss of accuracy.

A photo tachometer head available as an option fo measuring rpm including engin( rpm, hydraulic motor speed an so on. The unit weighs 17I1: Three models are produced, th, HT125, HT250 and HT 75C having a pressure range c 0/5000 psi, a temperature rang of 0 /200degC and a tachomete range of 0/1000 rpm. Floi, ranges vary between 5/2 gal /min to 75/150 gal /min. Made by: T. Webster Ltd, S Ives, Huntingdon.
