Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Developed for Fuller gearboxes by Drum Engineering, a 55 hp pto operates at an output speed up to 1000 rpm. To facilitate installation, its depth has been reduced to 54in. which has been achieved by using one large idler gear. The gear remains in constant mesh with the gearbox, and selection is provided by a simple sliding gear on the same shaft, which is located by two spring-loaded balls in an annular groove in the sliding gear. This eliminates the necessity for an external quadrant assembly which is prone to failure, particularly where it is exposed to dirt and dust from the vehicle's road wheels.

The pto can be supplied complete with air or cable control, and can be delivered ex stock where small quantities are required.

Made by: The Drum Engineering Co Ltd, PO Box 178, Edward Street Works, Dudley Hill, Bradford 5D4 7B0.
