ALORRY-MOUNTED crane—the Search-Teha 3000 with a capacity of three tons at a reach of 5 ft. 3 in. reducing to one ton at 14 ft. 9 in.—is marketed by Wm. G. Search Ltd. It was developed in conjunction with the German manufacturers, Toussaint and Hess Maschinenfabrik G.m.b.H., Dusseldorf.

A special extension jib is available to provide a maximum reach of 23 ft. at which a load of 10 cwt. can be lifted. Built-in safety valves prevent overloading.

In standard form the crane will slew to 193'; at slight additional cost provision can be made for 360° slewing. Other options include hydraulic operation of the telescopic jib (additional to manual operation) and an hydraulic winch with 75 ft. of 5/8 in. cable. Marketed by: Wm. G.
