MR. Werner Heubeck, managing director of Ulsterbus, said last week that the Border would not stand in the way of prosperity in the Irish tourist industry.
He was speaking after the inaugural trip of the Belfast to Galway 7-day-a-week bus service to be run jointly during the summer by his company and CIE—the Eire Transport Authority.
Mr. Heubeck revealed that since he joined Ulsterbus 16 months ago the company had spent £500,000 on new vehicles.
