THE road haulage industry and the railways launch a joint campaign on Tuesday to make trade and industry aware of the waste of resources that occurs when road vehicles are not turned round promptly.
The campaign follows growing complaints From hauliers. And the Prices and Incomes Board has backed the Road Haulage Association's view that members should charge demurrage for delays caused by customers.
