Many UK road transport firms have female directors and managers, and this network, which started as a support group for farmers' wives, now has a lot to offer all businesswomen, including events, local groups, advice on funding etc. All its organisers are accredited business advisers and it has 70 voluntary network organisers around the country. It says that "rural is a state of mind, not a postcode"— in other words anyone is welcome.
