• Environmental representations from residents have led to the refusal of an application for a new one-vehicle licence by Dairy, Ayrshire-based Kenneth McKinna, trading as McKinna Contracts.

Bid succeeds • \Vest Midland DTC Roger Seymour has granted a licence to Motor Salvage UK for the two vehicles and one trailer in possession, despite an objection from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, following an undertaking from director Hudha Chowdhury that the vehicles would be inspected • every four weeks (CM16-22 July).
