• Clarkes of Penge has just bought three Van Hoot T815 "H" Alizees integral coaches worth £240,000.
The new vehicles are powered by the Cummins LIO 216kW (289hp) turbo engine, marketed exclusively in this country by Arlington Bus and coach sales which says that the Van Hod Cummins package has proved popular, with ten sold so far and another ten on order.
Clarkes of Penge has specificed a ZF S6-90 gearbox for its new coaches along with air suspension, Webasto heating, double glazing and 53 reclining seats. They will be used largely in this country.
