Charles Lawrence has been promoted to managing director of the transport group, filling the position vacated by David Yeomans, who became managing director of the whole Wincanton Group last year.
Mr Lawrence was previously director of transport operations. He now assumes full responsibility for all the trading operations within the transport companies.
Simon Bown becomes financial and commercial director of Wincanton Transport Group, and Keith Reed, general manager of technical services and Steven Thomas, personnel manager have been made directors of the company.
Andrew Hunter, previously assistant site manager at Wincanton's Dallaston truck centre, takes over as South Wales regional manager based at Sully.
Peter Brown, formerly South Wales regional manager of Wincanton Transport, becomes gen eral manager of Wincanton Chilled Distribution based at Chippenham. He will be responsible for the division's operations and transhipment centres.
