Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the world's commercial vehicles from 3.5 to 38 tonnes. The INUFA Katalog, available through Albion Scott (£14.95 plus £1.75 post and packing UK or £2.50 overseas), has 500 pages and data on each vehicle includes chassis type, engine capacity, compression, horsepower, torque, liquid capacities, voltage; transmission/gear ratios, diff lock; tyre types; and chassis weights and dimensions. There is a multi-language translation key — and hundreds of photos.

In 10 pages of introductory articles in English readers are told that 1983 is a year of paradox for the British commercial vehicle industry. On the one hand it has a better catalogue of technical and engineering quality than ever before. On the other it is struggling to recover from the combined effects of the economic recession and prolonged uncertainty over operating weights.

However, this international catalogue is mainly in German and won't appeal to an operator who is not also a vehicle enthusiast who will enjoy perusing the technical data. The latter includes psv — for instance, small motor buses (Kleinbusse): Bedford; Chevrolet; Dodge USA; E. Au Mier; Fiat; Ford, Germany; GMC USA; Heuliez; lsuzu; Mercedes-Benz; Mitsubishi; Peugeot; Renault; Toyota; and Volkswagen. I don't know another book, either, which lists associations worldwide belonging to l'Union des Transports routiers (IRU) — even the one in Afghanistan.
