THE 30,000th F86 model from Volvo has left the production line for delivery to Haugesund in Norway where it will be used for tanker transport. Production of this particular range started in 1965 and, to date, the 86 has been sold in 36 countries in six continents.
Great Britain heads the list of countries buying theF86. From 1967 up to May of this. year a total of almost 10,000 trucks, mainly tractive units, has been delivered to the UK' • market. Second in the list comes Sweden with 7,000 vehicles during the same period and third is Denmark with approximately 3,000 vehicles.
