Aerolift is the name given to suction lift developed by Armstrong-Taylor Plant Ltd that is operated by a diesel or electric motor.
In the event of engine failure or inadequate suction, a klaxon horn automatically gives a warning signal which continues until the suction pads are ready to take the full load. This operation occupies 10 to 20sec. Made by: Armstrong-Taylor Plant Ltd, Swallow Street, Stockport SK 1 3HL.
