Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A convertible towing eye assembly, which enables trailer operators to use both British and Continental towing equipment alternatively by the simple operation of changing the towing eye, has been developed by Neate Brake Controls Ltd.

Known as the Neate A/703 convertible eye, it is made of steel and consists of a drawbar socket to which alternative eye plates may be fixed by means of three bolts. The drawbar socket itself is bolted or welded to the apex of the drawbar. Standard eye plates are to BSAU and ISO or DIN specifications, but other sizes are available to order.

Trailer makers should note that drawbars can be fitted with the Neate drawbar socket as standard, the operator then being able to select an eye plate to suit his requirements.

Made by: Neate Brake Controls Ltd, Hanworth Trading Estate, Hampton Road West, Hanworth, Middx.
