• Birthday bonuses for seven lorry drivers working for Tina Transport, Terrington St Clement, near King's Lynn, have been won by Mr Aff Avison, TGWU district secretary at Peterborough. In a deal on working conditions the drivers will get birthdays off with full pay, a substitute day being allowed for birthdays which fall on weekends, bank holidays or on February 29.
