bus service receives better support from the travelling public, it will be withdrawn at the end of the summer. This warning has been given by Terrier Coaches (W. M. Appleby), who operate the service. On Sunday, the bus services from Stockton to Osinotherley and Swainby, which were " rescued " by D. R. Rennison, of Stockton, when Crowe Bros. ceased to operate them last year were closed down. United Automobile Services Ltd. started a modified service on Monday for a trial period of two months.
