Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

On Wednesday of last week, gold watches were presented to three drivers of Bon Marche (Liverpool), Ltd., the recipients being Messrs. Charles Bartholomew, George Wares and Thomas Anderson, who have each completed more than 25 years' service.

In an accompanying illustration Sir Frederick J. Marquis, J.P., chairman and managing director of the company, is to be seen making the presentations, which were witnessed by a large gathering of drivers, in addition to Mr. D. Webster, general manager of the concern, and Mr. G. L. Bingham, transport manager.

Mr. Bartholomew has been driving motors since 1919 and averages 85 miles per day, whilst Mr. Wares, who has been driving since 1914, averages 60 miles per day, and Mr. Anderson has averaged 80 miles per day since 1911. None of these men has been involved in an accident of any kind and has not been concerned in police action.

Fire Turnouts Average 13 Seconds.

The competition for the cup presented to London Fire Brigade by the late Sir Edward Smith, D.L., J.P., for the smartest average time of " turnout " during the year, has produced the following results for 1936-37 —Brompton (B watch) Station, 13.23 secs.; Edgware Road (A. watch) Station; 14.57 secs.; Pageant's Wharf (B watch) Station, 17.29 secs.

Dodge Dealer Appointments.

The Roding Garage and Service Station, Ltd., Woodford Avenue, Ilford, has signed a dealer's commercial sales agreement with Jack Olding and Co., Ltd. (the distributor for Dodge Brothers (Britain), Ltd.), for the Walthamstow (E.I7), Woodford (E.18) and Chingford (E.4) areas and a large portion of Essex, outside the London postal district.

Messrs. Ryders Motors, of Liverpool, have signed a retail dealer's agreement for Dodge commercial vehicles with J. Blake and Co., Ltd., Liverpool.
