• Volkswagen has revealed preliminary details of the Multivan version of its forthcoming Transporter TS range, due to be launched in the summer.
The new Transporter will keep its 2.5-litre engine size, but with VVI's Pumpe Dose high-pressure unit injection system. Although van ratings have net been confirmed, the passenger Muitivan will be available with outputs of 128hp/340Nm and 172hp/400Nm.
The Muttivan will also come with a 229hp 3.2litre petrol VB engine. Sixspeed manual and auto
matic transmissions will available.
Although not radically diff ent in appearance to the curr model, the now van is sligt larger, and is expected to p duce significant improveme in dynamics and comfort.
