Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

rear marker boards on heavy goods vehicles now that the criterion which governs the classification of these vehicles has been changed from 3 tons unladen to 7.38 tons gross?

From inquiries made at the Department of the Environment it is obvious that no change is yet contemplated. The change in vehicle classification arose from the introduction in the UK of the EEC driving licence regulations on January I. As the requirement for reflective plates to be affixed to the rear of heavy goods vehicle is peculiar to the UK there is no reason why it should not be continued on the existing standards.
