Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE LEARNING and Skills Council is backing an attempt to tempt more women into road transport across the North-West.

After a delay of several months. the LSC is formally inviting tenders to deliver a project to attract more women into logistics firms across the region. Companies have until 29 March to submit entries.

Geoff Dunning. the Road Haulage Association's director, northern region, and chair of the North West Logistics Alliance. says: "We've been pressing the Learning and Skills Council to offer this project to tender for some time. Were delighted to see this opportunity for employers in the region. The opportunity to bring new blood into the industry is particularly welcome."

Women account for only 2% of Britain's 400,000 truck drivers.
