area managing director of GM Buses, has taken early retirement, after 26 years with the company.
Robert Tait, currently east area managing director, has temporarily been appointed as general manager (operations).
Acting area managers have also been appointed: David Ashworth is responsible for traffic in the South; Keith Mathieson is area finance manager for the East; and John Lonergan is chief engineer for the West.
Ray Simister becomes operations and marketing manager for the South and Jack Holleran, area assistant engineer (resources), will be responsible for the West area depot engineers.
