NEW ISLAND SERVICE • Beginning in Mid-June, Orkney Ferries will run a daily, no-advance booking RO-RO ferry between Gills Bay (near John O'Groats) and Burwick on South Ronaldsay (25 minutes from Kirkwall).
First sailing out of Gills Bay will be at 07:00hrs and thereafter at two-hour intervals. The crossing will take 45 minutes.
