THE ABERDEEN, Dunfermline and Luton branches of Pickfords Removals have new managers. Harry Milne moves from Dunfermline where he was branch manager to the bigger Aberdeen branch — his fifth branch managership.
Taking his previous job at Dunfermline is Ian Lithgow, who moves from Edinburgh where he was also branch manager, and where he worked for seven years.
Luton's new branch manager is Dave Clifton, who has been promoted from sales executive at the company's Watford branch.
Two more management appointments are announced by Pickfords. Former general manager of the company's exhibition services Rod Moysen has been made general manager of its business and industrials division based at Bradford.
Terry Paterson joins Pickfords' national sales force as Scottish area sales manager, after having joined the company 18 months ago from the licensed trade.
• A new mobile customer service unit launched by Pickfords as a pilot scheme in its southern area is to be the responsibility of customer service representative Hilary King. The unit will operate out of the company's Croydon branch.
