I was interested in the "Hawk's" reprint of the latest ROSCO poster emphasizing the need to approach roundabouts with care in CM's issue of February 16.
As an operator of a large number of heavy articulated vans I would draw attention to the fact that a critical speed is involved in that the sway of tallish vehicles when negotiating roundabouts can build up at certain speeds to cause overturning.
This speed is not necessarily high, and I am sure there was an article in your excellent publication a year or two ago, together with diagrams clearly showing the hazards involved.
There is no doubt that excessive speed is not the only cause of accidents at roundabouts.
