• A series of tests to find the most suitable coach for long distance services and tours is being run by National ,Travel (NBC) Ltd. A 53-seat Bedford YRT has been in service on Black and White's London-Cheltenham service and the same company has also tried a Ford chassis. Both vehicles had Duple Dominant bodies.
As already reported, Ribble is questioning passengers on their reactions on an Alexander-bodied motorway coach currently on experimental service.
