Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Reproduced in this test are conditions often encountered by drivers involving, as it does, manoeuvring in confined spaces and judgment of forward, rearward and side clearances.

Start with front wheels on line GG. Signal to the marshal to position cones HH to enable your vehicle to pass between them with minimal clearance. When signalled,. drive forward to stop facing and close to but not touching barrier J. When signalled, reverse and stop with the rear of the vehicle facing and close to but not touching barrier K. When signalled, drive forward to pass between cones HH and stop with front wheels between lines L and M. Movement from GO to J, J to K and K to LM must be continuous.

(a) Distance of foremost point (up to height of 4ft) of vehicle from barrier J — one mark per inch.

(b) Distance of rearmost point (up to height of 410 of vehicle from barrier K — one mark per inch.
