Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Test 1 — Diminishing Alley

This test represents a situation which frequently faces drivers and which requires them to manoeuvre in confined spaces and position their vehicles accurately.

Start on line AA with front offside wheel at point X. Drive forward to pass centrally through cones BB continuing through cones CC, DD and EE to stop with front nearside wheel on target F. Movement between AA and F must be continuous.

Note: According to size of vehicle involved, movement EE and target F may be restricted by an additional cone or cones.

penalties (a) Distance off centre between cones BB — one mark per inch.

(b) Target: Bull — nill marks; Inner — 25 marks; Outside Target area — 50 marks.
