TH White in Cheltenham. The raiders detached the blue and white tractive unit from its trailer during the overnight break-in at the firm's premises in Station Road, Andersford.

Its registration is G483BAD, chassis number 42290920489605. Attached to the tractor was a Palfinger PK10500 AR3 hydraulic crane, serial number 9032-5520M.

The owner of a Mercedes-Benz tipper stolen from a secure lorry park in London has offered a e2,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of his vehicle.

The 17-tonne four-wheeler was taken from Barnet Hill, High Barnet during the night of 1-2 December. The body is an alloy double dropside, with a white cab and "Stone and Granite" merchants written in red on the side.

The chassis number is 61701425280760 with engine number 36695220052489.

Nottinghamshire police are appealing for the owner of a rare Volvo engine to come forward to claim it. The factory reconditioned Volvo TD100A N10 with a green coloured top-mounted turbo is believed to be one of only 20 in the country. It was recovered during a police operation to crack down on stolen vehicles.

ALeyland Dal 380hp 95 Series was stolen between 14:30hrs and 17:30hrs from a lorry park in Silsden, Keighley, West Yorkshire on Sunday 12 December. The vehicle, registration G167MNW is a white unit with a dark green stripe around it. Chassis number is XLRTE47VV50E354498 and engine number is H44913. The vehicle belongs to owner-driver Mr Jackson.

ALeyland Constructor eight wheeled tipper was taken from Watton-at-Stone, Herts-based Elmside Transport between 17:35 and 20:15hrs on Wednesday 15 December.

The 11-year-old vehicle, registration AAY 38Y, has a chassis number 70511 and has a blue cab with a red and white stripe across the front and a grey aluminium insulated body.

The vehicle has also just had a new step painted in grey primer fitted on the driver's side.

AE1,000 reward is on offer for information leading to the recovery of a Leyland Freighter 17.16 tipper stolen from Holland Company, a Stoke building materials supplier, on the night of 10 December.

The Freighter, registration F249 KYJ, was taken From Hall's site in New Street, Stoke.

It was painted in the firm's distinctive blue and orange livery. Chassis number is XLRE4T43L0L021107 with engine number 8842210. Equipment includes a Hiab 071 crane, serial number 261666, and a Kinshoffer brick grab.

olice say there may be a link between the thefts in East Anglia of two vans laden with food worth a total of £17,000.

The first theft at Doddington happened between 17:30hrs on 30 November and 06:30hrs the next day. A white Ford Iveco box van, registration G378 OYD, was taken from Ingles Lane. The van, which had Harveys Fine Foods signwritten on the side, contained £2,000 worth of peanuts and cakes.

The second theft, from the Old Airfield Industrial Estate, Warboys, happened between 17:30 and 21:30hrs on 1 December.

An orange and white Ford Cargo, reg J105 NEA, was taken together with its load of El 2,000 worth of food, including 79 Christmas hampers and several boxes of ASDA own brand bottled spices.

Driver Alan Atkinson got the shock of his life when he sat down to tea on 8 December—the Leyland Freighter rigid which he had just locked up in the yard of Associated Brick Supplies drove straight past his front window.

It was stolen only a few minutes after Alan returned it to the yard at Station Road, Elworth, Sandbach in Cheshire.

A £1 ,000 reward is on offer for the successful recovery of the rigid, registration F427SRE, which has a rear-mounted Atlas 3006 brick crone and a Southworth airlift middle axle. The chassis number is 1XRE4H501023623.
