Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Somers Handling is to launch a range of mobile column lifts for lighter vehicles.

Its traditional twin column design with central leadscrew is retained but the cradle restricts wheel size to 17.5in.

Unlike the heavier lifts the new range—rated at 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 tonnes per column—can only be used in fours, but a single-axle lift option is available. The vehicle can be stopped at any height up to the lift's maximum 1.6ni, Prices for a set of lifts will range from £6,500 for the 1.0tonne/column to 1:7,200 for the 2.0-tonne/column. The singleaxle option adds 060. All the safety features common to the heavier lifts will be fitted, with cost savings achieved through simpler circuitry and lighter duty motors and gearboxes.
