Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The articles, letters and your editorial published in CM, December 9 really showed what a mess our industry is in.

The RHA is at an all-time low and it was the last straw when they decided to abandon their practice of recommending scales of charges to members.

This was done because the R HA was under pressure from the Office of Fair Trading to stop this practice.

The answer is for a new organisation to be founded to represent all hauliers, which will make a stand in all directions and not just sit back and take the ever increasing amount of legislation that is being thrown at us by the EEC and our own Government.

If anyone is interested (and this must mean the majority of hauliers), would they please contact me in writing at my address and we will see what progress can be made.
