THE OWNER of failed haulage firm Reading Freight Service says rising fuel costs and a proliferation of pallet networks contributed to its demise after 21 years of trading. The firm collapsed last month owing £1m to creditors. Its liquidation is being overseen by Harrisons Business Recovery.
