Using a vehicle with defective brakes and a trailer without a test certificate cost Liverpool haulier Theresa Postlethwaite £585 in fines and costs. Postlethwaite admitted the offences before the Wrexham Magistrates. And in a separate hearing Liverpool City's Magistrates convicted Postlethwaite in her absence of using a vehicle without a tax disc and when there was no margin on her 0-licence. She was ordered to pay fines, costs and back duty totalling £1,310.
