OFFERING up to 1.96cum (70cuft) more carrying capacity on a 12-metre (40ft) trailer than conventional type vans is the Cravens Hornalloy Taskold fridge boxvan semi-trailer.
Plated to operate up to 32.5 tonnes (32 tons) gross trailer weight, the increase in capacity is achieved by new types of glassfibre and steel crossbearers. The floor consists of a high-strength composite structure with grp top-hat section cross-members and plywood underfloor stressed insulation panels.
Insulation is by sprayed polyurethane. The new semitrailer will be on show at the Commercial Motor Show.
