WALLACE ARNOLD has placed an order for 100 luxury coach bodies with Plaxtons (Scarborough) Ltd. They will start delivery later this year. The bodies will be mounted on several different chassis, the exact mix of which is still to be finalized. A spokesman
for WA told CMthis week that a definite order for six Bristol LH coach chassis had been placed. These would be for use in Devon where 2.2 m (7 ft 6 in) wide vehicles are essential. Part of the remaining order would probably be Leyland Leopards.
