Gerry Ellison, 30, has moved to the newly created post of manager (operations and productivity) in the Miles Druce express parcels business which comprises Carryfast and Harrisons of Dewsbury. Mr Ellison is responsible for the maintenance and buying of vehicles, inter-depot movements, O&M, and operational research. He joined the operational research side of Miles Druce in 1971 and became productivity manager of Miles Druce express parcels two years later.
